Welcome to KLTV's Windrush Veterans Project
KLTV and its partners are embarking on a significant project to create a documentary and educational resource honouring the Windrush Armed Services Veterans in Huddersfield.
The project will uncover and celebrate the invaluable contributions of Windrush first, second and third-generation decorated veterans from the Huddersfield area, whose stories have largely remained untold. The documentary will explore the experiences of these veterans, highlighting their service, sacrifices, and the challenges they faced both during and after their time in the armed forces.
As a volunteer on this project, you will be working in a variety of exciting and engaging roles. This online handbook is designed to give you all the relevant information to assist you in your role.
