Welcome to R.A.D.A.R.

Recruit, Acclimatise, Develop and Retain (R.A.D.A.R.) is an employment skills development programme hosted by Kirklees Local TV in partnership with the Civil Service Department of Transport.

We aim to celebrate and influence new talent and prepare and support young people and adults with the skills they need to thrive in the civil service.

Through digital workshops and professional coaching sessions, we aim to develop and improve your skills, encourage, empower and prepare you for employment.

The training programme, which is City & Guilds assured, aims to usher in a new era of talent acquisition and development for the Civil Service.

The R.A.D.A.R. programme is a self-guided online training course designed to educate and assess candidates across five key areas that fit within the framework of the Civil Service Success Profiles.

The modules include:

Communication in the Workplace

Confidence and Resilience

Inclusion and Diversity in the Workplace

Understanding and Developing Workplace Relationships

Employability Skills and Career Development

Further enhancing the learners' educational journey, R.A.D.A.R. also comes with two online group coaching sessions aimed at supporting and supplementing the self-guided programming. These sessions work in tandem to give learners a dynamic and engaging experience throughout the course.
